Love this place! We finally got around to trying it and are in love. Food: Oh my god... we got the gumbo poutine, alligator and chicken, and jambalaya to split. The portion sizes are great, the flavor outstanding. Can’t say enough! We also got the banana bread pudding, equally incredible. Ambiance: The restaurant is super cool and big with different vibes depending on where you’re sitting. Love the live music. Can’t wait to come back when it’s nice out and eat on the patio!

First time trying BrewRiver Creole Kitchen and we received a welcoming greeting right away by the hostess and bartender. Our original plan was to grab a drink and appetizer before driving to The Precinct. After a couple minutes, we made an impulse decision to stay and give BrewRiver a longer visit. They have a nice craft beer selection on draft. We enjoyed the chicken and sausage gumbo and Pasta Monica we ordered. BrewRiver has indoor and outdoor tables. We sat at the bar and our food came out amazingly fast. The bartender was friendly and very accommodating. We plan to go back and try more menu items.

Came here for the first time Valentine’s Day. Really affordable pricing, strong drinks, and jam packed flavors this place was wonderful. To top it off we even got to listen to a live band we didn’t know would be playing that night over a candlelit dinner. This was a amazing experience and was just the first of many visits to come.

New Orleans style food is my absolute favorite. Top of the list, so my bar is pretty high. This place crushed it. Starting off with the ONLY legitimately good tasting hurricane in the city, which was super exciting because I have been looking for one for forever. From there, my family shared all of the small plate dishes, and not one of them was bad. Straight hundreds across the board, loved every dish. In addition, the bread pudding and bourbon brownies were just incredible. Can't recommend this place enough!!

We recently celebrated an anniversary here and had a phenomenal experience! The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. We were surprised with a glass of champagne for our celebration, which was a nice touch. I had the truffle mac & cheese with shrimp for my main entree. It was from the small plates menu, but it was enough for my dinner and lunch the next day. They definitely did not skimp on the shrimp and it was delicious with just a little bit of spice. And don’t forget the bread pudding for dessert!.

I spent nearly 10 years living in Louisiana. Sometimes, I get craving authentic Cajun cuisine. Doesn't get more authentic than this. Gumbo here is SO good. Key to great gumbo is the roux. You can tell the painstaking attention to detail has been adhered to. Love this place. Live music (on a Saturday night), friendly, impeccable service without hovering (thank you, Tina!), incredible food and drink, and an owner, Joby, who cares about her customers. Thanks for a wonderful evening, Brew River Creole Kitchen. In a town with many wonderful dining options, you'll be part of my regular dining places! Five of five stars! And two enthusiastic thumbs up!
